Skate or Die! (Skateboard Collection) Art Poster Print - 24" X 36"ReviewsThe description for this product is misleading. It is not appropriate for a child's room. I ordered this for my 8-year old son, who loves Tech Deck mini skateboards and skateboarding in general. I could not increase the size of the image to see the detail on the mini boards. The poster looks great and arrived in excellent condition, but many of the images on the small boards are inappropriate for children. They are half-naked, provacative animae-type images. It's going in the closet until he's much older. Average Rating:![]() |

Sk8 Decks (Skateboards) Art Poster Print - 12" X 36"ReviewsThis is a PG-13 poster! I bought it for my 10 year old, he has a skateboard room... a poster with a bunch of skateboards on it, cool! (I thought) Each board on the poster has a picture on it (like most skateboards) but some of the pictures are very risque (to say the least) cigarettes, busty cartoon women in not appropriate poses. I didn't like the poster at all (I'm a woman :) I'm sure a man would feel differently about it... but definitely NOT for kids!! Average Rating:![]() |

CKY TrilogyReviewsCKY 1 is awesome....but I really would have liked to have the complete CKY2K and CKY 3 instead of a remix. Also the documentary...eh at best. However, the Chinese Rap at the end almost makes it all worth it! I cant believe this would be sold and marketed as a trilogy when most of the content of 2 and 3 isnt even in it. They have been mashed together and all the good content is gone. Buy the movies individually if you want the full, awsome, cky experiance. Bam and the crew at their finest, but part two and three are combined together and your missing out of a lot of extra stuff. Like Bjork's house and the rental car and many more. I am a huge fan of all of the CKY stuff. You need to own it if you like Jackass, Viva La Bam and Haggard. I Bought this dvd about 2 months ago and Im Still Laughing. Great Buy! 'This DVD set includes 2 DVD's full of CKY madness. Camp Kill Yourself crew is well known for their antics on MTV's Jackass, but before there was Jackass, there was CKY. Featuring one of the hottest skaters around, Bam Margera, and his merry band of hooligans, the CKY series has become one of the hottest selling skate titles in history! Filled with crazy antics, hilarious skits, and amazing skate footage, mixed with driving music... |

Yeah Right! [EXPLICIT LYRICS]ReviewsI have seen a different version of this. The only thing i remember is Jereme Rogers skating to Michael Jackson's Don't stop til you Get Enough. Being a music fan and a MJ fan, i liked that particular version better. I think every skater in this vid has extremely smooth lines and a huge bag of tricks. That being said it takes a great amount of skill to perform these with style. check out RiCk M.'s part. also Carroll and Koston have great control and style with their boards. And to those of you who complain about the length this is a 2in1 movie. it contains both Girl and Chocolate videos Are you going to see the best skating ever in this video? No. Will you see a video that will have you highly entertained even if you are not a skater? Yes! There are definitely other videos with better overall skating but none are as unique and as imaginative as this. Look at this as a regular movie or TV show and not as an exhibition of the worlds greatest skaters. I have seen every guy in this video in other videos do some serious skating so don't think they are just trying to hide behind special effects. Watch and enjoy! A friend of mine was given this video and we watched it. If you want to watch what seems like an eternity of kickflips, manuals, hand rails, and nollies over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.......... again, then this is the video for you. I swear, those are the only tricks shown in the video, over and over and over and over.... you get my point i hope. this video sucks. kickflips and hand rails are not skateboarding so this was pure torture for me to watch. if you want a real skate video get "ban this" from powell. yeah, i'm old school. again, this video sucks. it's like a couple kids learned kickflips, manuals, nollies, and hand rails, and then spent the summer taping themselves doing them, over and over and over and over. the only good part of the video is where one dude does like a little layback slide and that's it. even if you are new school and love kickflips, manuals, nollies and handrails, there has to be a better video for you. AVOID THIS ONE AT ALL COSTS. i would have given it infinity negative stars, but that's not an option. This is one of my favortie skate vids. The video boasts great skating and really explores some interesting editing with Spike Jonze behind the lens. Everybody has nice parts showing off the different styles of skating on Girl. There are interesting montages and even hefty Chocolate parts. Overall a great video. This video has nothing but great skating and with the help of spike jones has brought this film a type of artsy look in some of the edited footage. My Vhs of Yeah right broke which is why I had to re purchase it, but for dvd. To all the people who hate this video, it's because your stupid and don't know great skating when you see it. I don't know how some people find it boring, when many of the Chocolate skaters appear in this vid. This brings a unique style and diversity to the video. I recomend this video to anyone who loves skating! R.I.P Keenon... Average Rating:![]() |

Search For Animal Chin Special EditionReviewsI owned this on VHS when I was a younger rat. It was so much fun to go back and re-live the glory days! If you liked it then, you'll love it now! Have you seen him? of 80's skateboarding. This video is why I'd skated in the 80's! This video is why I got back into skating in 2008. Wow, has it been that long!?!? This video showed why the core Powell Peralta team was so killer: McGill, Hawk, Cab, Mountain, Guerrero, Mullen, Harris, Welinder, etc. If you haven't seen it or him, get this dvd, actually, get the special edition dvd with extras. It's awesome! When Animal Chin, the 62 year old master of skateboarding goes missing, the Bones Brigade (Steve Caballero, Tommy Guerrero, Tony Hawk, Mike McGill and Lance Mountain) goes on a search for him. Opteka .43x Full Fisheye Lens for Sony Handycam HDR-UX1 UX10 UX20 SR1 HC62 HC52 HC96 HC3 DCR-SR42 SR45 SR65 SR85 SR220 SR10 CamcorderReviewsHello there well I just have to say these fisheye lens were the best i was so excited when they got to my house i couldn't wait to use them for skateboarding and I have to say they were of the best quality I'm very happy with my product 5 Stars all the way. This was a great product to buy. Absolutely no complaints. This wide angle fish eye lens did exactly what it said it was supposed to do and I couldn't be happier. It came with a bag for the lens and a very warm hat with the "Opteka" name on it. So I guess I got more than what I paid for. I would recommend this product to anyone. Just got this fisheye in for my Sony DCR-SR45 and i love it! I plan on using it to film skate videos and to use it in my church youth group! A most have for skateboarders :) I bought this lens as a birthday present for my brother... I wasn't too sure how it would go over but I figured for the price it wouldn't be too much of a loss if he decided it wasn't what he was looking for... turns out he was thrilled with it. It was a perfect fit for his Sony DCR SR45 camcorder... the "span" of the fisheye scope is excellent... it's a great, affordable "starter" lens for those up and coming do-it-yourself skateboard videos... it even comes with a little leather protective pouch.... and best of all was the price! Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3H8Q9XVC49ONL I use the Opteka .43x fisheye converter on a Sony DCR-HC62 camcorder. The lens has a 37mm thread size and came with a 37-30mm step-down ring to fit on my camera. It works just the way a fisheye converter should work. The video looks good, I have no complaints. Opteka 0.43x HD² Full Fisheye Lens for Canon VIXIA HF10, HF100, HR10, HV10, HF11, HG21, & HG20 Digital Video CamcordersReviewsI used this lens, it's a fun addition to everyday snapshots. I have a video using this lens on my old camera: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=7409028 And here's an image I took with it a while back on that same old camera: http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/70/l_463a977a47bc57219a60f01f267cdd38.jpg Copy the urls to your browser to view them. It loses quality around the edges (quite a bit) and has alot of aqua tint in some places so do consider that but it's very, very fun to play with and you can take lots of interesting snapshots. Got this lens recently and I don't think I could be much more pleased. The only reason I took off a star was because of some very minor vignetting in one corner (easily fixed by zooming in just a touch. not even.) and just a bit of fuzzy distortion around the outer edges. May just be nit-picking. Otherwise this is an outstanding lens at this price. I'm using it on my Canon HF10 and the colors remain vivid, and detail largely intact. If you're looking to do some skate videos or just want a fun lens to get creative with, do yourself a favor and try this little guy out. Bought this lens as an accessory for my 12 year old daughter's Vixia HF-11. Although I'm a Canon 'L' lens snob, I assumed this would see a little more abuse while being slung around on her camcorder. Didn't want to do that with a $200+ lens. So far, I've been impressed with the optical quality and effect of this lens. It's a good alternative to the OEM product, in my opinion. Hey, this is a great deal! Modest price, loads of fun. Sure, it's not for everyday use but it's loads of fun. The optical quality is very surprisingly good... I bought it on a lark and have not regretted the purchase one bit. High fun factor! Buy it. Average Rating:![]() |

Opteka 0.43x HD² Full Fisheye Lens for Canon VIXIA HF M31, HF M30, HF M300, HF20 & HF200 Digital Video CamcordersReviewsI bought this fisheye lens for my Canon HF20. It works fine and fits perfectly. When you film completely zoomed out there is a visible black ring all the way around the frame so the comparison pictures are misleading. You can zoom in a bit to get rid of it, but I don't mind it and think it makes the shot look even better. You can't beat this lens for the price. It's a good buy. Average Rating:![]() |

REAL KITEBOARDING Zero To Hero Instructional DvdReviewsThis was the first instructional video I bought thinking that it was the only option. Although the explanations of kite design, set up, and especially safety are generally good, I didn't find the techniques described to be as easy to emulate as those of the Progression video. This is mainly because the camera shots are too far removed from the actual position of the kite, the board, and the body and feet of the rider to give you a sense of what you should be doing. After much trial and error on the water, I realized that this video is not as good as it could be. By contrast, the Progression video positions the camera up close and personal: right at the head of the rider -- which makes you feel like you are learning right there with them and it takes that extra step of analyzing what you should be doing relative to their position out of the learning curve. Moreover, the Progression videos are edited to show pictorially, the position and direction of the wind and the position and direction of the kite/body/board/feet etc., this is VERY helpful. In addition, the Progression videos take you through common mistakes that beginner riders make and tells and shows you how to work through them. The one extra on the Real video I liked was the explanation of different board types. This is a nice tutorial for when you are ready to progress to another board. Then they had this music video which just seemed erroneous (music as background would have been enough...really). Then there was this bad video from Liquid Force which showed nothing (check out the new Addikt video from Fone; its amazing!!!) with a hip-hop tune half of which was edited for profanity...honestly, if you're going choose a tune that your gonna have to bleep out just choose a different one. Humble suggestion.... you guys run an really great shop but this video is due for a rework. This video doesn't show enough lessons they want to suck you in to buy several others The Zero to Hero video does a great job of covering the basics for learning to kiteboard. It gives good information to help in preparing for lessons, and reenforces the information put out in lessons. The video has enough information to get started without lessons, but even with the dvd, lessons are a good idea. I would highly recommend this video for anyone interested in learning to kiteboard. This was meant to be an instructional video. That's what it is. Easy to understand. Easy to emulate. After using the video you can go right out and launch your kite with confidence. No frills in the video. Production values are in line with what you need to learn. Real Kiteboarding 'Zero to Hero' is a great introduction to the sport. The video briefly goes over a lot of the basics of launching and landing your kite, the fundamentals of control, as well as lots of other little things that are good to know. There are a lot of extras that definitely add to the dvd. Of course they say that you need professional instruction and that the dvd is meant simply as a supplement, but I would say that if your a good athlete and have a general feel for wakeboarding and sailing, you can get yourself going with quite a bit of practice with both the trainer kite and body dragging. I did. Then again, if you don't mind spending the money, I'm sure proper instruction would be a great way to do it as well. Just a side note, the dvd only covers up to simply getting up on the board. It doesn't cover any of the riding basics like turning or riding upwind, so you'll have to get the 2nd dvd in the series to learn that. Or you could just go to the beach and watch what other people are doing. There are also some websites that have instructional write ups that I've found to be useful. Average Rating:![]() |
