I ordered this skateboard for my 10 year-old son. The skateboard itself is excellent in all respects. However, the packaging it was shipped in was the worst I have seen in my 50+ years. Before ordering the skateboard, I had noticed that a number of other reviewers were scathing in their criticisms of the packaging. I dismissed this as exaggeration, but it turns out they were right. It was a miracle that the skateboard only got scuffed a bit on both ends in transit. The tape on the bottom seam had come competely off, so that the box had ripped wide open, and both ends of the box were devoid of any padding and had been smashed in. The UPS driver left the box on our front porch with the skateboard sitting on top of the smashed and ripped-open box, but it wasn't his fault. It was the fault of those who packaged it for delivery. Whoever packaged this should be fired.

I got this board for Christmas, and love it! It is very strong but not to thick, making it light enough for tricks. The trucks, I found, were a little askew, but fine if your not trying to hit a ramp a foot wide(which in fact I have tried and is very tricky!) Great board though. Glad i got it!

I ordered this skateboard on a random impulse, as I wanted to begin skating. I am 18 years old and the only skateboard I had owned before this one was a cheap $20 board that I bought just for looks. First of all, the board came really, really fast. I mean less than 48 hours fast, and I hopped on it as soon as I could. I didn't have any clue about skateboards so I went by the reviews that said it was good, and they were right. The board seemed a little large at first but now I love it. I'm extremely happy about this purchase and wouldn't change a thing. I skateboard around my college campus and wherever I need to go, and the board holds up. The trucks are sturdy, the wheels are spectacular, and I prefer this board over any "professional" board such as PlanB. I didn't even have to loosen any of the wheels, they all spin like a dream. Go buy this product now. I promise you won't regret it!

I am glad I got this for my 6 year old son. He loves it, his instructor loves it. This is a real skate board with real good wheels, not one of those cheap ones in large stores.

I baught this board for my son and it made him a better skater.He also baught his friend one.His friend learned to ollie in 15 minutes with this board.His friend also learned to ride off ledges with this board.IT ROCKS ,buy it.

I am currently serving in Afghanistan and I ordered this board for my 13 year old son. He got it the other and absolutely loves it. He says it rides great.

This package arrived by the said time and the board turned out to be a great product for a beginner. I bought this for my 7 year old and I am very happy, he loves it. I have skated with professionals growing up and I can honestly say this is one of the best boards under $100 out there right now. It is nice to have another choice between a walmart board and a pro board that a young kid cannot fully appreciate.

My son loves it. The wheels were not stiff and he was able to do his "tricks" immediately

Bought for 12 yr old son, it replaced a very good skateboard he bought at the skate shop several years ago ... the deck was pretty much shredded. He loved that board. But this one is just as good, he has no complaints. Skater for about 5 years.

Ok first of all Amazon.com rocks, Your the best online super store, I love u guys. ^_^ Ok before i was buying this board i couldnt find any reviews anywhere at all, and all the ones i did find were negative. That is why i decided to do this review. Ok we cant compare this to a Loaded, Sector 9, or Original's boards. thats where people think this board is not a good board....! Wrong! This is a great longboard for a beginner as well as a person just low on cash. The Core brand trucks are awesome and durable and ride great. I got some aqua blue 70mm wheels with mine because the colors vary. The bearings are blistering fast and seem very tough. The board is soo fast. The deck it self is awesome with plenty of flex and bounce in it. About 48inches long, its like a freaking missile. I am a 28 year old, 200lb 6ft guy, i love it. My first longboard for now until i get a Loaded Dervish^_^ And im very satisfied with it. Overall its a great board to get started with or just to ad to you collection, and its quite dependable, Moose is a good brand. Most of us Americans just have the stupid mentality of not settling for something less, unless it has a famous label or brand. Trust me my friends, You'l be happy. Thank You. God bless Justin

BOUGHT THIS FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTER AND SHE LOVES IT. SHE IS A BEGINNER SKATEBOARDER AND SHE ASKED FOR THIS ONE SPECIFICALLY SINCE HER FRIENDS HAVE IT TOO.

This skateboard is attractive, well built, and has quality materials. I didn't find anything even close in quality for twice this price. It was a gift for my daughter and she loves it! You won't be disappointed.

I purchased this skateboard for my daughter's birthday! She's been asking for a skateboard for years and was too young before. She started riding the first day and hasn't stopped yet...22 days and rolling. This is a great item for her, she's a beginner and looks like a natural. Board is sturdy and large enough so she can use it for years. I would definitely recommend this skateboard to others.

My son used this to work on his boards. Getting a kid to read is always a good thing.

If you have teens you know that skateboarding is what they want to do. Safty is the key here. I found that how to Setup And Repair A Complete Skateboard helped me get involved with my teen. Easy to read and quick to the point. Best wheels, replacment and ajustments is a great section.

I received this book in the form of an ebook, as I was asked if I could have a look at my neighbours skateboard. I admit that before reading this book, I knew nothing about skateboards, so when I was asked to look at my neighbours, I was a bit wary. This book not only guided me through all the things I should know, but with detailed guidance, I was able to accomplish the things I didn't know. I was suprised with all the theory, as I believed that a skateboard was simply a board with wheels. I now know different, as a properly built and maintained skateboard is a precision tool. many thanks for an easy to follow guide.

This book is right up my son's alley. He knows from a user's point of view how accurate this book is at covering all the many ways a skateboard must be fixed and maintained. He has even learned some new tips about the mechanics of them, and that's not easy for any teenager to admit (since they already know everything). My son assures me that this guide should be standard equipment for every skateboard owner. And he knows what he's talking about!

If you want to customize your skateboard, build one from components or refurbish your "oldie but goodie" this book has all the detailed information you need. In addition to an excellent description of all mechanical aspects of skateboard construction, the author offers tips that affect the performance of your skateboard, including types of wheels and how they grip the surface you're riding on. That's just one of many points that helped me get a positive outcome on my skateboard projects. I recommend this book without hesitation.
